Roye was my next door neighbour and childhood friend. Together we, with his younger brother Clifton Johnson and my own younger brother Lestroy Wright, formed a club with the single charter of "doing good" for the less fortunate and elderly people of Elderslie, St. Elizabeth.
Roye went on to STETHS and became academically focussed, excelling in all his classes. After graduation he went on to Kingston where he was initially employed by Seprod leading to the opening of his own restaurant and catering business (formerly the Versair Inflight Service, now, Goddard Catering Group).
Roye will be sadly missed by family and friends...rest in peace my friend.
