I remember so well, when Carolyn started attending grade school with us. She was shy and we weren't used to new students. Soon we began playing together and insearch of something to say to me repeated: "Alice, do you live in a palace?" to my great irritation. By high school we were friends without the questions and really had a lot of fun in debate and drama classes.
