COPPERAS COVE, Texas Raymond L. Roberts, 67, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2017.

Services were held on June 9, 2017, with Chaplain Matthew Woodside officiating.

Burial of his cremated remains at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas

Raymond was born on April 3, 1950, in St. Joseph, to Vera and Theodore Roberts.

He graduated from Benton High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1970. While in the Army, he was stationed in the U.S., South Korea, West Germany and was last stationed at Fort Hood.

After he retired from the Army, he worked at AAFES and Firestone until he retired.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Roberts.

Survivors: mother, Vera Roberts; sister, Beverly Roberts; brother, Allen Roberts; children, Cindy (Ron) Gager, Stephen (Judy) Roberts, Christopher (Ben) Roberts; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
