I graduated from Loyola Chicago in 1992 (Jim Lindsay, another Chamunist, was my roommate Freshman and Senior years) and went on for a Masters at University of Michigan, where I met my wife Traci, and a PhD at NYU. We live in Charlotte, NC where I teach political science at UNC Charlotte. Traci also works at the university as a Senior Program Manager for Distance Education. I have two kids, Davis (born 2001) and Elena (born 2005). My summer project is teaching them to swim.
