Kathie and I were the best of friends for about six years. Some of our friends said that we spent so much time together that we started sounding like each other when we would talk and when we would laugh. I moved into the district when I was a junior and she and I just clicked right away. We had several classes together and we were always together after school, either on the phone or just hanging out. We spent many many nights at Snow Cap going from car to car to talk to other friends. We had some great times together and some really sad times as well. I was with her the night her Dad passed away. She was my rock and I think I was hers. When I moved to California and decided to get married she flew out to be my maid of honor without blinking an eye. After about a year she and I lost contact which I know happens. When I moved back I tried to reconnect but I guess it just wasn't ment to be. I'm sad that I never got to meet her son and that she didn't get to meet my family. Rest in peace Kathie. You will always be in my heart and in my memories.
