I have some wonderful memories of Diane McDaniel (Lee). It was she who introduced me to my husband way back in April of 1960. She had known Bill (Mulder) from her days at Bayless School before moving into the city and starting Southwest in her freshman year. We were very good friends during high school but eventually drifted apart and lost touch with each other. We shared some happy times and also suffered through the usual teenage angst together. So many memories are coming back to me right now that I haven't thought of in years. Very sad to hear that she is not with anymore.
So sorry to find out that Diane has passed away. I would walk from my house to hers every morning, then we walked together the rest of the way to school. I enjoyed our friendship so much.
I remember Diane being a good friend. Several of us had sort of a gang and she was the driving force of it. Bubbely. funny and just sweet person. Sorry she's gone.
