I was really shocked and saddened to hear about Gary's passing during the summer of 1968. I did not know anything about his horrific boating accident until school had started in the fall. I met Gary for the first time freshman year. We seem to have the same class schedule. He was absolutely the class clown. He was the funniest guy I ever met. He was always disrupting class with his humor. He never got in trouble because the teachers were as entertained  as we were and seemed to welcome it. I miss Gary alot. I really feel cheated because I feel we were going to be good friends and did not get the chance. It did not seem fair that  this happened to him.  He really had an impact on St. Mary's in the one year he was there. I feel Gary was destined to be one of the great comedians of our time. We lost alot of fun and laughter when we lost Gary. May Gary rest in peace and I hope we meet again at the Funny Bone Theater in heaven. Gary's spirit will always be with  his fellow Dragons.
