Roy Flagg (Flagg)

Roy Flagg (Flagg)

The family announces with great sorrow that Roy Flagg passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021.

Roy was married to his lovely wife, Pamela for 47 years. He loved spending time with his family (especially his 3 grandchildren) and enjoyed traveling with his wife. Roy also held tremendous pride in tending his vegetable garden and yard. He had a great sense of humor, as well as an avid interest in aviation and history.

Roy served with the United States Army Reserve from 1972-1978 and worked proudly as an electrician for over 30 years with American National Can, Daimler-Chrysler and Laclede Gas.

Roy's laughter, smile and joy will be greatly missed by all of us, but cherished in our hearts forever.

Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Wednesday, June 30, at 10 a.m. with services concluding at funeral home. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Siteman Cancer Center are appreciated. https://siteman.wustl.edu/give/

So sorry to read of Roy's passing.  Indeed, he had a fine sense of humor that I will miss.

So very sad to hear of Roy's death. I knew him since grade school at Twillman in Spanish Lake. He was a great guy, and I always looked forward to talking to him at our reunions. My deepest condolences to his family.

It's hard to believe that Roy has been gone over a year now.  Roy and I were good friends in High School and were also in the same Army Reserve Unit.  We had reconnected in recent years and enjoyed several lunches, usually at various locations that Roy suggested.  I always looked forward to visiting with Roy and my adventures to the different locations.  The last was Olive Street Cafe on Olive near Mason.  I think it was a favorite of Pam and Roy's.  I sure didn't realize at the time that would be the last time I would see my friend Roy.

Rest in Peace.
