Marijean Ulrich Obituary

Marijean Ulrich, age 73, of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away on January 13, 2025, in Osage Beach, Missouri.

She was born on October 31, 1951,  in Ferguson, Missouri; a daughter of Eugene and Marie (Dawe) Kappauff.

She was united in marriage to Paul Dean Ulrich on June 12, 1976. They shared 36 years together at the time of his passing on December 21, 2012.  After Paul’s passing Marijean in time met Dennis Batteram. She truly enjoyed his companionship of doing life together.

Marijean enjoyed everything about music including Karaoke, watching live music concerts and dancing. She was part of a band called Christones, and their family was and is still very important to her.  She enjoyed everything outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, and four-wheelers. Marijean was described as a very patient woman, who loved to have fun and could light up a room when she walked in. Marijean enjoyed life to the fullest, but her most treasured thing in life was spending time with her family, especially her children and her grandchildren.

Marijean was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marijean is survived her children Mark Ulrich and wife Natalie, Scott Ulrich and wife Amber, and Rosemary Ulrich-Clancy; her grandchildren Sean, Brady, Paul, and Cassidy; her companion Dennis Batteram; her brothers Gerald Kappauff and Kevin Kappauff; other relatives and many friends.

Marijean was preceded by her husband Paul Ulrich.

Celebration of Life will be held on March 2, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Quail Ridge Lodge in Wentzville, Missouri; 24 Columbine Lane Wentzville, Missouri, 63385.

A Prayer Service will be held at 3:00pm on March 2, 2025, at the Quail Ridge Lodge in Wentzville, Missouri; 24 Columbine Lane, Wentzville, Missouri, 63385.

In Lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Lung Cancer Association and/or American Heart Association.
