One of my favorite memories of Mindy is her playing her guitar in the U.S. girl's dorm living room. She, Cyd McIntire and I were making new arrangments of C.S. hymns and harmonies. She would use counterpoint beats to offset the melodies as we created new harmonies. It was really fun. Also, as I noted in Cydney Brooke McIntire's memories, Mindy and Cyd illegally pierced my ears with ice and a needle. It was about one in the morning in Mindy's room, I was so freaked out after the first ear, I cried and didn't want to do the 2nd one., Mindy sang to me for almost a half hour to settle me down so Cyd could pierce the other ear! What silly and joyous times the were! Many years later, working in my then branch church reading room I would play Mindy's cassette tapes with great love.
Very grateful to have had the opportunity to reconnect with Mindy before her passing. Her music was such a gift. I still have three or four of her cassettes and CD. Thank you Mindy for leaving such a gift of sharing for us to remember you by.

I got to see and hear Minty at 30th Reunion. Such a talent. We use here solos at our church.
