Directions to Tim Kiernan’s Farm

Classmates,   The problem this month is that Highway 55 from Minneapolis to Buffalo is closed for most of the summer. You can follow  your G.P.S. Systems to get you there but will go through some  backroads and detours that have  gravel on them.

Follow these directions and  try your  SENSE of direction with the SUN out during the day. The SUN sets in the WEST so you should have SUN glasses on and be driving INTO the SUN.  Buffalo is WEST of Minneapolis about 40 miles. Allow about an hour to get here. If you come by the Interstate 94 from the NORTH, Go WEST on 94 until you reach the Monticello/ Buffalo exit, turn SOUTH (Left) on to Minnesota Highway 25, and you are now about 15 minutes from the farm.  Just follow Highway 25 through Buffalo, past Golf course on your right,  to  20th street SOUTH EAST of Buffalo, Balloons will do the rest.  

If,  on the other hand,   you are coming from the SOUTH of the cities, follow Interstate 394 WEST BY Wayzata and continue on this highway as it turns into "OLD" Highway 12 through Maple Plain and  Delano.  You are now about 10 minutes from the farm.   Stay on Highway 12 until until you see the turnoff to Buffalo on Highway 25.
