Richard Mostrom

Richard "Dick" Mostrom passed away on April 15, 2011 at age 70.  His passing was peaceful, at home, and he was surrounded by his family.  Richard had been battling very challenging health issues for many years.  His central health issue involved his failing kidneys and his need for dialysis.  In fact, it was these health issues that kept him away from our 50th Class Reunion in 2008.  Dick was given a special invitation when we talked with him around the time just prior to our August 2008 reunion; but he declined to come, sighting his failing health.

Richard lived in New Hope, Minnesota, and is survived by his wife Sharon; children, Kimberly (Dan) Sinn, Rich (companion Lisa), and Kris (Dan) Sontowski; grandchildren, Danny and Abby Sinn, Alicia and Kristine Mostrom, Danny III and Sarah Sontowski; sisters Pat (John) Steinke, Karen Krumseig, and Nancy (Mike) Taylor; extended family any many high school buddies and friends.

Richard was, during his work life, a Construction Superintendent for K-M Building Company.  He is interred at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
