Michael (Mick) Kirby Bambery

              1944 - 2026

Michael (Mick) Bambery of St.Paul, MN passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026 at the age of 82.
Mick was an avid bird watcher, traveling to many parts of the US to observe his favorite species. At home he enjoyed his pet cockatiels and canaries. His love of natures beauty and adventures with his beloved son Liam brought him much joy.
Michael often sought ways to bring healing into his life. He joined friends Patrick and Paula in an "Art of Peace" training based on nature and mindful presence.
As (self-described) "so-so" poker player he enjoyed the game with his core group of lifelong friends.
Mick was an excellent woodsmith, helping family and friends create beauty in their homes and cabins.
He is survived by son Liam, sisters Mary (Rob) McDonald and Fran (Mike) Cobb. Step siblings Barb (Denny) Anderson and Dave Dahlberg. Co-parent Jeanette Truchsess. Sisters-in-law Carol (Jay), Fran (Tom) and Marilu (Jerry) Bambery. He is preceeded in death by parents Tom and Dorothy and Stepmother Genevieve, brothers Jay, Tom, Jerry and Don and sister's Liz and Trish.

A celebration of life will be held on October 25, 2026.
