My favorite memory of Christy is from our senior year at band camp. She and I, and Pam Renner and Melissa Tallman all shared a room together in Mountaineer Lodge at Cedar Lakes (see attached pic). Every day before dinner we had an hour-and-a-half break, and every day the three of them took a nice long nap while I was out doing whatever. So by the end of the week, those three were still bright eyed and bushy tailed, and I was dog tired.

The last night of camp I had crashed on the bed and the next thing I knew, Pam was shaking me awake and telling me that someone had pulled a prank and left their room, and Mr. Oliverio was mad and wanted us all outside lined up to march NOW! I glanced at the alarm clock and it said something like 5:30 or 6 am, and they were all dressed, putting on shoes and brushing their teeth. So I drug myself up, got dressed and was brushing my teeth when they all started laughing hysterically. I happened to look at my watch and it said 3:30 am.

They were still laughing as they pulled off their shoes and clothes to reveal their pj's underneath. They had pulled a good one on me and I still suspect Christy was the brain child of that prank. Christy was always up for a laugh, and always spoke her mind, which I admired. I will miss her smile and will always remember her fondly when I think about our high school years.
