In Memory

Christy Ann Malone (Brammer)

Dear Class of 90,

It is with a heavy heart that I am posting this information.  Our dear friend and classmate,  Christy Malone Brammer, passed away on Feb 17, 2011.  Christy will be sadly missed but memories of her smile and her happy nature will bring us comfort.

As soon as the funeral arrangements are known I will post that information on the site.

With Sympathy,

Chrissy

Christy will be brought back to WV. Arrangements are unknown at this time. Seems like the only time I got to see Christy was in the summer when she would come in to visit with her parents and go around to visit with neighbors when we held our community yard sale. She was always happy, never changed from the young girl I grew up with. She will be sadly missed by all. I will treasure all of the childhood memories I have of "the Oak Grove gang" and hanging out at your house. R.I.P.

Christy did not like for anyone to know everything she was going through in the years since her graduation.  She had fought a courageous & continuing battle with Crohn's disease, endured the shingles more than once & had multiple surgeries.  I was at her bedside every time she had a surgery but one and that was because I was having a surgery myself at the same time.  She suffered so much & compllained so little!!! Many didn't understand how badly she felt & all the problems created by the Crohn's disease.  She always had that smile you all remember &  we miss her so very much.  We appreciate your beautiful memorial to her on your page.  I hope one day to post a picture of "Moonie" & her mustang on here.  It is just so difficult right now.  She was a wonderful daughter who loved her family (mom, dad, sister Wendy, Casey & her niece Alex with all her heart.)  There are not enough words to tell you how much pain we are in & how sadly we miss her.  She was such an important part of our family & we will NEVER be the same.  Don't remember her with tears, remember her with her smile & as a beautiful butterfly. She had a heart of gold, compassion beyond belief, & loved with all her heart. She will forever be on our minds & forever in our hearts.  Janice, her mother
