HOMECOMING 2011 INFO: HM Homecoming celebration is sure to have something for the whole family. The day starts with a 5K Walk-run at 8 a.m. led by Coach Tim Ryan. Please visit the HM website at www.hill-murray.org to register. Beginning at 11 a.m., the youngest Pioneers can head over to the inflatable jumping houses, obstacle course and the “Rescue Heroes’’ play land. Activities include face painting and numerous other activities. The celebration will include tailgate fare such as brats, burgers and cotton candy. Take a stroll down memory lane with fifty years of memorabilia that will be displayed throughout the day. It’s a great time to show your children photos of your days at Hill-Murray! The Homecoming game against South St. Paul High School will start at 1 p.m. at Higgins Memorial Field. The Hill-Murray marching band will take to the field during the game’s half-time, when we’ll introduce the 2011 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees as well as recognize alumni representing 50 years of graduates. After the game is when things get rockin’. The well-known Twin Cities band the “Rockin’Hollywoods’’ will perform some of the best music from the 1950’s to the 1980’s.
