Darlene Lamb died on Dec 16, 2004 after a long battle with cancer; she is survived by her mother. While attending NEHI, Darlene was involved with Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and CBE serving as vice president her senior year.

Darlene was my next door neighbor growing up in Meadowlawn. I will never forget how jealous I was when she got her camero and I got a two tone volkswagon I moved to Largo in 1987 and lost touch with her. We reconnected through classmates in 2003 the same year I was diagnosised with cancer. Darlene had already gone through cancer and really helped me by talking and just being a good friend. Darlene lost her battle with cancer on Dec. 16, 2004 not to long after her Dad lost his battle. Darlene put up such a good fight and I will be forever grateful to her for her support.
