Craig Van Loan died in July of 1992 from injuries he received in a traffic accident, he was 26 year old.

While attending NEHI, Craig was involved in school sports. He played both JV and Varsity Football. He was the Powder Puff Captain his senior year and was also on the Varsity Wrestling team.
