Since graduating from NEHI in 1985, I have had the opportunity to travel much and make incredible connections. I initially was not interested in college so decided to work for a bit but that got boring so I joined the Army in 1990. That is when things got very exciting and interesting. I had the experience of being stationed in Seoul Korea for a year during my 4 1/2 year stay and the rest of the time was stateside. I met my spouse while we were stationed together in Ft Drum, NY and we have been married since 1992. After departing the military, I took my GI Bill money and went to college and became a RN. My career started at Bayfront Medical Center in the Special Care Nursery and then I worked at All Childrens in the Pediatric Cancer Clinic. After our move to MA, I got involved in case management on the health insurance side of things. Since relocating to NC, I now work in a Woman's Birthing Pavilion. That is the great thing about nursing; the flexibility to choose different career paths within the field. I just love it. We have 3 wonderful, energetic kids who keep up very busy and very young and alive. We initially moved back to St Pete from 95-2000 and then moved to Massachusetts as my husband's father was ill. We have recently relocated to NC, near Raleigh area and we love it. What a great place to raise a family and the people here are quite friendly. I look forward to reconnecting with former school classmates.
