I received a letter and funeral program from George's widow, Anita L. Jump (anitajump@comcast.net). Below is an edited version. If you'd like the full contents, please let me know.
"It is wth a heavy heart that I have to write this letter to you concerning my husband. He passed away Decembr 5, 2011 peacefuly at home...His memorial service was held on the 15th. of January, 2012 at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Sacramento, CA. There were over 150 people there, family, friends and Brother Master Masons...His ashes were interned into Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia on the 6th. of February, 2012. He was given full military honors as he had served 20 years in the US Air Force, Security Services...He served two tours in Viet Nam. The first tour was flying our of Japan over Viet Nam and into Laos in C-130's, without protection, on spy missions. He was shot down, but lived to tell the tale. The second tour he served (by special request) with the US Army out of Plei Ku. He loved what he did and had a deep love for his country...?"

George played clarinet in BCHS band.
He joined USAF shortly after graduation and made it his career.
"Al" was wounded in Vietnam.
After military retirement he became active as a Mason in multiple California lodges.
