I remember Mike from when we started elementary school. I also remember Mike being able to walk. He was the sweetest, kindest friend anyone could ask for. Mike we miss you and wish you were here celebrating our 20th year with us. Love, Ticia
I remember that glorious day is Stewart Ohio playing Pee Wee baseball when Mike hit an inside the park homerun. He was so thrilled and excited running around the bases with that great big grin of joy on his face. That day is a treasured moment in my memory. Mike was always an inspiration because he was so full of life and lived his life with a smile on his face everyday. Danny and Mary thank you for allowing me to stay at your house after school until Mom or Dad could pick me up. I carry a memory everyday with me of your place because when I was 8 yrs old Kevin Mace and I were riding and racing our bikes through your property. I looked back to see where Kevin was and in an instant, the cable wire stabilizing the telephone pole sliced my thumb nearly off.
Mike is severely missed, but not ever forgotten!!!!
I remember one time (I think in middle school), the guys put those poppers (throw them on the sidewalk and they snap)under the wheels of Mike's chair. Then they would have him back over them and tell Mrs. McDaurgh (I'm pretty sure it was her) that his wheel chair backfired. This went on during the whole class! He loved being a part of the mischief!
