Lawrence Lee Fishinghawk, affectionately known as "Fish" to his friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Born on October 20, 1965, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, Fish spent his life as a beacon of joy and kindness to all who knew him.Fish's passion for life was evident in his wide smile and hearty laughter, which could light up any room. His unwavering optimism and generous spirit were his trademarks, touching the lives of many in his community. He was a cherished friend, a respected colleague, and a beloved figure in his hometown. As we remember Fish, we celebrate the legacy of love and happiness he leaves behind. His memory will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the beauty in everyday moments. Fish's journey through life was a testament to the power of positivity, and he will be deeply missed by all. Lawrence was the Son of Leo and Virginia Fishinghawk. Lawrence married the love of his life Robin on June 29th, 1996, in Stilwell, OK. Lawrence is preceded in death by his mother Virginia Fishinghawk, Father Leo Fishinghawk, brothers, Lance, Larry and Leo Jr and sister Letha. Lawrence loved the outdoors, he loved fishing and hunting with his son, Wyatt, but he would go fishing with whoever was available! He is survived by his wife Robin, Son Wyatt, and daughter Mashell Hooper-Haddock and son-in-law David Haddock. Sister Jodie Fishinghawk of Stilwell, Ok Sister Bobbie Merrie and Husband Mike of Stilwell, Ok., Sister Linda of Stilwell, OK Nephew's Heston, Hunter, and Camden Merrie and Chase Merrie. Nieces, Ashton Fishinghawk and Charlotte Merrie extended family and friends. Lawrence is greatly loved and is greatly missed, the comfort is in knowing he's in Heaven, dancing with angels!
Our family will be hosting a memorial service at our church on Tuesday July 23rd at 2:00pm Highway51 Lighthouse church. 15837 Highway 51, Tahlequah.
