Nick L. Immel, 51, of 7306 Clarke St., died Monday, June 23, 1997.Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Bowlin of Bushland Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Cremation was by Memorial Park Crematory.Mr. Immel was born in Higgins. He attended Frank Phillips Junior College in Borger.He was a salesman for Pumpco Supply for 15 years. He then began working for Strategic Distribution, where he was working at the time of his death.He married Peggy Dean in 1966 at Borger.Mr. Immel was a member of the Amarillo Team Penning Association, the American Quarter Horse Association and Trinity Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife; a son, Brad Immel of Amarillo; a daughter, Sherilyn Immel of Amarillo; his mother, Lyn Green of Phoenix; stepfather, Harold Green of Phoenix; stepmother, Marie Immel of Fort Smith, Ark.; two brothers, David Immel of Fort Worth and Richard Green of Laurel, Miss.; a sister, Lavetta Beshears of Fort Smith; and a grandchild.The family will be at 7306 Clarke St. They request memorials be to St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
