I think Ron transferred to SHS in his sophomore year. He was a very bright, down-to-earth guy. 'Had an infectious sense of humor, laugh and smile, this young PK (preacher's kid; his dad gave the invocation at our Baccalaureate). We had a Breakfast Club, translated to mean a Study Hall gathering for those of us who routinely arrived on campus beginning around 7:00 am. Soooooooooo many interesting discussions and a whole lot of laughter came out of those "meetings". Years later ('68?) I had a couple of hours layover in San Francisco en route to the Orient and called Ron, who lived and practiced law there. I'm sorry he is no longer with us; Ron lived up to his name and was a friend to everyone!

I will miss Ron at our 50th reunion. He was a very compassionate person always putting others first.
He was a best friend who would always smile and laugh at any of my amusing remarks.
To his last day of life he supported his church and praised our Lord.
God Bless Him!
