Genia died on July 5, 2017 of heart issues.  She lived in Fort Worth, Texas and is survived by her mother, Rosemary Sheerman and her sister Sheryl E. Mullins.  Genia worked for the BNSF railroad for 42 years as a dispatcher in Fort Worth, Texas.  She enjoyed needle work projects.
