J. Guadalupe 'Lupito' Lopez Jr. 1982-2010

STREATOR — J. Guadalupe "Lupito" Lopez Jr., 27, of Streator, died Friday afternoon, Jan. 29, at his home.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, Streator, with Monsignor John Prendergast officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, with a wake service at 4 p.m.
Mr. Lopez was born May 1, 1982, in Streator, the beloved son of J. Guadalupe and M. Cristina (Carrillo) Lopez Sr.
Lupito had been employed at US Foodservice and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, both of Streator. He attended Streator grade schools and was a graduate of Streator Township High School, class of 2001.
He is survived by one daughter, Adalynn Marie Lopez; his parents, J. Guadalupe and M. Cristina Lopez Sr.; one sister, Maria de los angeles Lopez (Timothy) Kearfott; one brother, Alejandro Lopez, all of Streator; nephews, Angel M. Moralez, Aiden D. Kearfott and Alejandro L. Lopez; maternal grandparents, Fortunato and Rosa M. Carrillo, California; paternal grandfather, David Lopez, Streator; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Maria Refugio Lopez; and great-grandparents, Angela Granado and J. Jesus Cerda.
Pallbearers will be Alejandro, Jose and Noel Lopez, Timothy Kearfott, Brain Holofchak and Santos Mascote.
