September 18, 1961 – February 26, 2018

Karen Louise (Baker) Battle, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018, at the age of 56. Loving wife of the late Charles Henry Battle; beloved daughter of the late Henry Leslie II and Gwendolyn Louise Baker; devoted mother of Jeremy (Deanne) Tillman, and Alex (Amie) Tillman; cherished grandmother of Belle Hale and Everett Tillman, with one grandbaby on the way; dear sister of Henry “Chip” Baker III.

Karen retired from teaching in 2016 after 25 years. She taught 2nd grade at J.L. Mudd Elementary and the Gifted Education Program at St. Peters Elementary. Karen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
