Grand Ridge – Services for Susan Jabczynski, 21, of Oswego and formerly of Grand Ridge, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Svec and Sons Funeral Home, 6227 W. Cermak Road in Berwyn. She was found stabbed to death in her apartment Monday in Oswego. Kendall County police are still investigating the case.

Burial will be in Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born in Streator, Oct. 23, 1959, a daughter of Walter and Irene (Wolf) Jabczynski. She graduated from Streator High School in 1978 and attended Illinois Valley Community College. She also attended Beauty School and was a certified cosmetologist.

Surviving are her parents of Grand Ridge; two brothers, Peter and Michael, at home; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was a member of Park Presbyterian Church and Woodrow Wilson Lodge 377 Czechoslovakian Society of America.

The family asks that memorials be directed to Park Presbyterian Church.
