Jill A. Melrose, 64, of Streator passed away Thursday (November 7, 2024) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with services following at 2. Cremation rites will be accorded following services and burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Jill was born on March 15, 1960, in Streator to Carl Dean and Maxine (Schmitz) Melrose.

Surviving are daughters Jessica (Rich) Hadley of Peotone and Rachel (Lawrence) Mordon of Streator, grandchildren, Jack Huber Jr., Jaden Huber, Savannah, Sabree and Philip Walk Jr. and Cheridee Tunget, 7 great grandchildren and her sister Carla (Charlie) Klein of Streator.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Pauline Henert.

Jill attended Streator grade schools. She graduated from Streator High School in 1978 and attended IVCC.

Jill was formerly employed at St. Mary’s Hospital as a CAN and was a school bus driver for First Student.
