Granville – Jo Lynn Boone, 37, of Magnolia, died at 6:33 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 1998, at OFS St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Magnolia. The Revs. Suzann Barr and Wyatt Haws will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the church. Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Born Sept. 4, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of Joseph Phillips and Marilyn Shelton. She married Gary Boone on Oct. 20, 1989 in Ottawa. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother and step-father, Gerald Shelton, of Streator; sons, Stephen Phillips and Justice D. Boone, both at home; a step-son, Michael Boone of Walnut; a daughter, Cheyenne Lee Boone at home; a step-daughter, Randi Boone of Utica; a brother, David Shelton of Streator; half-brothers, Scott and A.J. Phillips of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Richelle McLaughlin of Virginia Beach, Va., Rhonda Harr and Sheri and Kristie Shelton, all of Streator; maternal grandmother, Leona Redd of Streator; paternal grandmother of Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and he two grandfathers.

She worked at various elderly care jobs, companies and personal.

She was a member of Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Magnolia.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
