Ronald was born Oct. 4, 1955, in Cleveland, lived in Lorain County since 1987 and made his home in Grafton since 1995. Shinn was employed by MTS Systems Corp. as a field service engineer for 13 years. He was previously employed by NASA, Cleveland, as a field service engineer. He was a graduate of Strongsville High School and enjoyed music and audio systems and fishing and spending time on his boat. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Janice E. (nee Post); daughters Kimberly Sikora of Olmsted Falls, April Reash of Akron, Autum Shinn of North Royalton and Amanda McKinney of Vermilion; his mother, Shirley Shinn (nee Haynes) of Cleveland; and five grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Shinn. Friends may call Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Reichlin-Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria, where services will be Thursday at 11 a.m.
