Jimmy Don Longnecker, 61, of Stuttgart passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 24, 2022.

Jimmy was born Sept. 4, 1960, to Floyd and Marcena Longenecker. He was a Stuttgart High School graduate and began working in the automotive industry at age 16 with McCallister Motor, then Coffield Ford, but most recently Petrus as finance manager. Jimmy was a very thoughtful and caring person with a contagious smile and laugh that could light up any room.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Longnecker and Eddie Longnecker.

Survivors are a brother, Jon (Kyla) Longnecker of Almyra; nieces, Callie Currie (John) and Paige McKenzie (Bert); nephews, Heath and Garrett Longnecker; great-nieces, Hadlee and Arley Currie, Hallie McKenzie and Anna Taylor coming in August 2022; and great-nephews, Grey and Parker McKenize and Tipton Currie.

Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Don White, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial in Lone Tree Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Monday at Turpin Funeral Home.

The family requests memorials to be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or St. John’s Lutheran School.
