As you all know Corby was one of my sure enough road dogs. I remember it like yesterday, I got the call telling me he was gone. One of my fondest memories was Corby and me broke as a joke but had to get to Little Rock to this party. I had an '83 Monte Carlo that had a rear main seal oil leak. For those that don't know, THAT IS A LEAK!!!!!! I couldn't afford to fix it. We bought a case of $1 a quart EZ mart oil and struck out. We had to add oil every 20 minutes. Needless to say on the way home the motor locked up, but OH what a PARTY!!!!
I will start off by saying I truly miss my friend Corby. Corby and I go all the way back to kindergarten. We always ended up in the same class together. There were days when he would make me laugh til I cried and there were days when he would really test my nerves...but I loved him all the same. I believe Corby was the one who started calling me by my WHOLE name. He would always say, "Shelia Frye..What's up?!" And I guess it just stuck, cause he would never just call me Shelia. He had to call my full name. I truly miss that from him. If he saw me anywhere, he would always, always come and bear hug me. I'll never forget the night we were over a friend's house and we were playing cards and drinking and Corby got a little too drunk and threw up all over our friend's pretty white carpet. We laughed about that for days. I really miss my friend! Love you Corby! R. I. P. Friend!!
