Comments:

I finished my BA in elementary education at Utah State, and took my finals one week before first child was born. For most of the time I have lived here in South Texas. My kids have all learned to swim-- to beat the heat, we go often to the pool in the summer. We try to get back to Idaho once a year and see family. My husband is from Rexburg, Madison HS Class of '85. I attended his reunion with him and found much to my amazement that there are good people from Madison High school. I was so caught up in the rivalry and competition with the neighboring school district that it never occurred to me that they are regular people. I am sorry to admit this. I met Curtis in English 111 at Ricks College and dated him until he went on his mission. While he was gone, didn't wait for him and did lots of things. I went to BYU Jerusalem for a semester in 1987. This was made possible by good hard work planting trees one summer with Wendy Bates, and some dreams planted by Bro. Galbraith who taught a French class at our high school for a short while.. I saw a lot of the Middle East and would do some things differently if I were to go again. Anyway, Back to Curtis. He came back from D.C. north mission and we were married in April 1989. Life has been very challenging living so far away from family, but we just make friends here. Thanks to Teri Pratt and Wendy Bates for putting up with me as a roommate at Ricks. Thanks to Judy, Andrea, Teri, Cheree and others for sending Christmas cards each year even when I didn't write back. I have great memories of good friends in high school, but I would not like to go back to those days because I have "grown-up" and hopefully become a better person. I hope to get to know you as adults now. I have not seen most of you since high school and I am amazed that everyone else has progressed as well. I am amazed only because I didn't see the little steps along the way. I haven't seen y'all for 20 plus years and you look great, sound great, and have done wonders. I hope to come to this reunion, but we expect to be sending our oldest on a mission sometime this summer and don't know our schedule.

School Story:

Sending notes to the person who sat in the same desk as I did in another hour in Mr. Thomas English class. We stuck them between the frame and top of the desk. I still have those notes. Way funny.
