I have worked for the Postal Service almost twenty years. Fourteen were spent in Yakima. I met Bruce Delsing on one of my trips to the Puget Sound area while visiting family. Bruce is an engineer for Boeing. We decided to get married so my transfer was inevitable. It wasn't a very difficult decision since most of my family resides in the area. We married in June of 1997 at the Mukilteo Lighthouse. We moved to Marysville, WA two years ago. If anyone has ever played the Cedar Crest golf couse you were in our back yard on the fourth hole. I work part-time in Mountlake Terrace just north of Seattle. I'm one of those commuters stuck in Seattle traffic. It has been an adjustment since growing up in Sunnyside and living in Yakima-traffic was never a problem. I hope to find a position closer to home. Neither Bruce nor I have children, so we decided better late that never. Wish us luck!
