Susan Claire Ellsworth was a bright and energetic girl with a wonderful sense of humor and fun.  She was a loyal and supportive friend.  One of my favorite memories of Susan was cruising down El Camino on a Saturday night in her mother's t-top car which we had decorated as a parade float.  We drove about 10 miles an hour and waved to everyone as we passed by.  She used to make me laugh until I cried.

Susan was struck and killed by a drunk driver (a 16 year old Fremont High School student) as she waited for a friend to pick her up in a parking in Sunnyvale.  She was 20 years old.

God bless you Susan.  You are forever in my heart.

I would also like to say that I was blessed to have Susan Ellsworth in my life, up until her life was tragically taken away from her at the young age of 20.

On November 19th, 1983 as Carolyn mentioned..... a young boy (I thought was 14 years old) borrowed a car without permission/nor had a drivers license  and suddenly and tragically took Susan's life. She was  instantly killed when the car crashed through some bushes where Susan was waiting in the apartment complex to be picked up.

I first met Susan at Ortega Junior in Sunnyvale where we both attended middle school. I knew right when I met her that she was going to be a friend for life. She had such a wonderful personality and will be remembered for her GREAT sense of humor. A day never went by where Susan didn't make me laugh.

When she attended Fremont High School, she was a member of the Featherette Drill team. My greatest memory though of Susan in high school was also just hanging out on the weekends with her and of course cruising down the El Camino. Those were some of the funniest memories with Susan that will last a lifetime.

Susan was interested in Art, and attended Foothill College and also De Anza College for 2 years until her dreams came to an end.

WE LOVE YOU SUSAN AND MISS YOU EVERY DAY!
