NITK had given us the most in our active part of Life and learning. Got to know very good friends and the atmosphere of love and caring. Even today after many years of going after own careers and families, the NITK has remained as permanent and part of own home.
In our times the institute had been called Karnataka Regional Engineering College, KREC, Surathkal. Today the name changed as NITK. Name change has been the matter of keeping in line of common understanding. Also, the current name suggest that it is not regional but national level college. That is why what ever is made to happen is for good!
