Jennifer Treadwell --

Born Jennifer Hanrahan-Van Engelen, December 19, 1971, at Washoe County Medical Center in Reno, NV. Raised in Sussex, New Jersey where she attended High Point High School and graduated in 1990. Attended University of Central Oklahoma, and majored in Psychology, Philosophy and Biochemistry. She worked for Novazyme Research Co. until starting her family in Edmond, OK with her husband, Curtis Treadwell. Mother to two beloved children: Patrick Treadwell (3 years old) and Hunter Treadwell (2 years old). Jennifer was dearly loved by her family. She was a brilliant, dedicated student and loving, devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She will be remembered for her quick witty sense of humor and beautiful, warm and fun-loving nature. Jennifer is survived by her mother Patti Yanvary-Van Engelen of Sussex, NJ; sister Jessica Campbell, brother in law Charles Campbell, and nephew, Christopher Campbell of Austin, TX; grandparents Gabriel and Elizabeth Yanvary of Sussex, NJ; uncle and aunt William and Leia Yanvary of Sparta, NJ; uncle and aunt Robert and Mary Yanvary of Hardwick, NJ; and cousin Kristen Yanvary Balunas of Swampscott, MA. Curtis Treadwell Born October 20, 1971, at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, KS. Raised in Wichita where he attended the School of the Magdalen and Kapaun Mount Carmel High School. Graduated from the University of San Diego in 1994 and completed real estate school in Oklahoma. A gifted entrepreneur, Curtis founded and built several successful business ventures. Yet, his greatest joy came from his beloved wife Jennifer, son Patrick, and daughter Hunter. Curtis loved bringing his family and friends together and never stopped giving of his time and affection to others. Curtis had the biggest heart. Curtis is survived by his father and mother Paul and Virginia Treadwell; sister Paula Cook, nieces and nephew Olivia, Hannah and Shane Wallace; sister Mary Treadwell, niece and nephews Kadee, Kristopher and T.J.; twin-brother Devoe Treadwell, sister in law Natira Treadwell, and niece Nikolette Treadwell; grandmother Tilda Treadwell; and many loving uncles and aunts. Patrick Treadwell Patrick Scott Treadwell was born October 11, 2000 in Edmond, OK. He was a light in every day and like his daddy, Patrick was a magnet for people. Patrick loved people and most of all his baby sister, Hunter. He loved Thomas the Train, chips and salsa and pizza without topping. He would have been a great athlete like his daddy and uncle and loved to run fast, swim in the pool and 'jump, jump, jump'. Hunter Treadwell Hunter Elizabeth Treadwell was born July 10, 2002 and won all of our hearts. Like her mother, Hunter was naturally beautiful and intelligent beyond her years. She had so much to tell us from an early age and could concentrate on a book like she was studying for final exams. She gave the greatest hugs and her smiles would melt your heart. Rosary service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2004, at Church of Magdalen, 12626 East 21st Street North in Wichita, KS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2004, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1321 North Stratford Lane in Wichita, KS. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to the Catholic Charities of Kansas (316) 264-8344 x 201
