Nye MADDIX
Nye R. Maddix, age 29 of Cleeves, North Somerset, England, U.K., died after a long illness Saturday, April 14, 2001, at home.
A glass artist, Mr. Maddix was born in Colorado Springs, CO, and previously lived in Newark and Claymont, DE and Media, PA, as well as Sutton, WV, where he was raised and attended school.
He is survived by his wife, Claire; his son and daughter, Samuel and Elizabeth at home; his father, Dennis Maddix of CO; his sister, Cicely Jo Bosley of Sutton, WV; his aunt, June Z. Hargreaves of Aberdeen, Scotland, U.K.; and his aunt and uncle, Ellen Z. and Mark S. Ellis of Newark, DE.
He was pre-deceased by his mother, Lois Zagha Maddix.
A funeral service was held in Sutton, WV Sunday, July 1 with burial following.
Donations may be made in Mr. Maddix's name to the charity of the donor's choice.

wow unreal well we had alot of special times on high knob and all over the place it was a lifelong memorie every one and his wife claire was so special we used to make glass beeds and smoke and go rootin through the woods and realy lived life to the fullest man what a loss i will never forget we were tight love ya man jamieLisa Friend (Riffle)
