Aaron Newman Baughman, 43, passed away at home in Independence, W.Va., on July 3, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Baughman, and his beloved grandparents, Randall and Ida Butcher.

He is survived by his wife, Penelope Baughman; daughter, Allison Baughman; mother, Sheila Baughman; sister, Nicole Fanaj (nee Baughman) and her husband, Fatos, and sons, Adrian and Bennett; and a large extended family.

Aaron was a very talented musician, avid stamp and coin collector and lover of animals and nature. His gentle soul, wit and humor endeared him to many.

The viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a service starting at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, July 8, at Dering-Henson Funeral Home, 156 Foundry St., Morgantown. The family encourages visitors to share their thoughts and memories of Aaron during the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
