Walter J. Tenney 55 of Partridgeberry Lane, Swanzey, NH died Saturday, March 28, 2009
Mr. Tenney enlisted in the Air Force during his senior year and was finally called to duty in January, 1972. During the initial part of his service he was stationed in Guam and Korea. He spent his last years of service at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO as a recruiter, having been stationed in San Antonio Texas and Fresno and Redding, California. He retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant following 21 years of service.
Upon returning to the area, he worked as finance manager at both the Honda and Toyota auto dealerships in Keene. He especially enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, going on 4-wheeling adventures with his buddies, and hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He was a very fun loving person and always ready with a joke or a story.
