Retired from the Maintenance Shop of Limestone District School Board - At home on Monday, April 13, 2009 at the age of 61. Surviving are his wife Lois (Reynolds) and his two sons Brandon and Tyler, his mother Nellie, his sister Brenda (Rod) Crawford and their sons Michael and Stephen, his sister-in-law Ruth (Donald) Cyr, his brother-in-laws Roger, George (Rose) and Peter (Paula) and their families, his mother-in-law Dorothy. He is predeceased by his father Harold and his father-in-law Grant. In keeping with Duane's wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to call at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME (1900 John Counter Blvd.) Saturday 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 2 pm. Interment of the ashes to follow in Harrowsmith Cemetery. At the request of the family flowers are declined, donations to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital (UHKF) or Portland District Volunteer Fire Department would be appreciated.
