Conrad MacIntyre

David Conrad MacIntyre, 35, a resident of 70 Mountain Rd., Halifax, passed away at home on Monday, Sept. 27, 1999.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of Roberta (James) MacIntyre. Conrad graduated from Sydney Academy and the Cape Breton Regional Vocational School. Last year he studied at the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology, Halifax. He was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for a number of years and a member of St. Andrews United Church, Sydney. Conrad was active in youth groups in his younger years.
Conrad is survived by his wife, Charlotte and will be sadly missed by his mother, Roberta; grandmother, Leta James; aunt and uncle, Jean and Gerald Brown; cousins, Glenda (Michael) Rolfe, and Kelly Brown; paternal aunts, Jean (MacIntyre) MacCharles, Irene (MacIntyre) Clarke, Ruth (MacIntyre) MacSween, all of Sydney, and special paternal uncle, Jim MacIntyre, Port Colbourne, Ont. and his many friends and relatives.
Conrad was predeceased by his father, David Conrad MacIntyre, maternal grandfather, Herbert V. James, paternal grandparents, Neil and Annie MacIntyre.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 12 noon followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dale Irving officiating. Interment will be in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
