 MONTI Julie K. Julie K. Monti, 41, of Maumee, died Tuesday morning, April 24, 2012, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born May 14, 1970, in Seattle, Washington. Julie graduated in 1988 from Sylvania Northview High School and obtained a degree in Fashion Design. She worked as a Department Manager for JC Penney in Toledo then as Assistant Store Manager at Dillard's in Coral Springs, Florida. Julie was able to live her dream by being a stay at home mom for her daughters. In her free time, she enjoyed scrapbooking and decorating and was an avid reader. She also liked to travel and especially loved the Outer Banks. Julie was an inspiration to her family, displaying the courage of a warrior throughout her illness. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Robert T. Monti; beloved daughters, Ashlie and Alexis; devoted parents, Ralph and Lynn Chinella; and her grandfather, Alfred Haugland. Her grandparents, John and Margaret Chinella and Hazel Haugland preceded Julie in death. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, April 27, 2012, in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) from 2:00-7:00 p.m. concluded with services to celebrate Julie's life beginning at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
