Helen Tymeson died in 1997 from pancreatic cancer, at the age of 52 years. She was married to Arno Reihs, Troy High School Class of approximately 1959. While raising her four boys, she was a very active “soccer Mom” and was employed as a dental hygienist. Her husband and her four boys (Arno, Jr, Christopher, Brett, and Derek) currently live in the Schenectady area.

Helen pierced my ears when we were in 11th grade and she was not only beautiful looking but a beautiful person. I was more than sad to hear of her illness and death.
It's poignant, these passing memories we have of our experiences in our youth, but even more meaningful when we carry these friends from our time at THS in our hearts.
