US Army after high school, reporter/photographer for Pacific Stars & Stripes-Korea Bureau. Came home, enrolled in college, graduated from University of Washington in 1971. Worked for numerous companies including Boeing (while in college), General Telephone of the Northwest (commnications analyst ((writer of flack))), United Way of Pierce County (public relations director), Pay 'n Save Corporation (public relations director), Caroline & Conner Marketing (operations director) and University of Washington Alumni Association (membership, marketing and communications director). Somewhere along the way I managed to take a year off for golf and spent almost a year touring the U.S. in my Ford van. I then opened and operated a used book store in old town Puyallup for about seven years.
Married twice (to the same lady). Sadly, she died about two years ago.
Today I blog a bit, drink a bit, gamble a bit and watch a lot of television.
Am seriously thinking about moving to Mexico.
