Kevin was a very good artist and had a very dry humor.
He died in Bremeton at age 48 [Oct 10, 2001] He married Sandra Worth in 1975 and had two sons, Brandon Jay and Janson Scott and one daughter, Shanna Lynn.
For those of you who attended Baker Jr. High back from 1967-1969, Kevin Byers and I, (ron overland) were appointed to do the artwork together for the 1969 Baker Jr. High Yearbook. Kevin did most of the artwork. I did some and helped with idea contributions. Kevin was friendly once you got to know him and had a great sense of humor. He allowed me to visit his home one time and discovered that he liked the Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin. He was considered a little different and he was always getting harrassed by the assistant principal, Williams (?) for having his hair too long. Kevin simply shrugged it off and merely did his best to ignore him. I can't believe he's gone. The world is a sadder place without Kevin. He is truly missed. I only wish I could have gotten to know him better . I still have your artwork from Baker 69 as a memento Kevin.
