Happy Montgomery - Class Of 1958 VIEW PROFILE

Happy Montgomery ----  April 15, 1940 – October 11, 2007.  Always looking forward to watching her youngest niece walk with the 50th anniversary graduating class of CHS, that dream dematerialized when Happy passed over on that nieces 18th birthday due to complications from diabetes. In addition to being a polio survivor, Happy also had survived Multiple Sclerosis and breast cancer. Happy was a medical laboratory technologist, having worked at Patterson-Coleman Laboratories and retired from the Florida State Laboratory in downtown Tampa. She enjoyed gardening, woodworking and fishing from the dock in that big, beautiful Hillsborough River.  She is survived by her two sisters: Marcia of Little Rock and Tracia of Tampa; 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 grand nieces and 1 grand nephew.

Respectfully submitted by Tracia, Don and Valerie Clossey of Tampa

Janice Hill (Ellsworth) (1958)

I have so many fond memories of spending time with Happy when we were growing up.  As we went through the years at Sulphur Springs Elementary/Junior High school, we shared many good times.  When we went to high school, we drifted apart.  After graduation, we lost touch, but I have always had a place in my heart for her.
