In Memory

Kimberly Woeckner (Cogar)

COGAR, Kimberly Lynn (Woeckner)

of Tampa, FL, passed away on October 6, 2017. She was born in Atlanta, GA on September 28, 1962. She touched, blessed, and made better the lives of everyone lucky enough to know her loving and generous spirit, her solid integrity, her delightfully dry (sometimes wonderfully twisted) sense of humor, her playful sense of style, and her profound sincerity. Kim was an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She was our rock and our glue. She was magically creative and was always coming up with innovative projects whether for her entrepreneurial pursuits or amazing surprises for special occasions. She graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1980 and attended The University of South Florida. Kim had successful careers at Time Warner, as a partner at Allied Graphics, and managed many business offices using her intelligence and grace. Kim is survived by her beloved husband, Larry; children, Caleigh and Lawson; step-daughter, Kristin (Evan) Cooper; granddaughter, Sydnei; sisters, Kathy (Carl) von Thaden, Debbie Woeckner-Saavedra, Tammy (Jimmy) Butler, Godson Blake von Thaden; parents, Dorothy "Pat" Woeckner and Reed (Estrella) Woeckner; aunt, Sandra (Jack) Wiens; cousin, Lisa (Chris) Riegel; her four-legged canine children, Maci and Dempsey, whom she adored; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and special friends whom she loved dearly and by whom she was deeply loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at 3:30 pm, in The Farish Center at Corbett Preparatory School of IDS, 12015 Orange Grove Drive, Tampa, FL 33618.
