Robert Fredrick Holland, 61 of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord Sunday August 27, 2017.   He was born January 29, 1956 to the late Robert and Helen Holland, Robert and graduated Temple Heights Christian School in Tampa, FL.

He has lived in Ringgold for the past 22 years and was a member of Battlefield Baptist Church. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed at O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Debra Holland who considered Robert both her soul mate and hero. Having met as children, they were lifelong sweethearts and friends, growing in the love of the Lord together; son, Brian Robert David Holland; sisters, Debbie Fleshman, Ohio and Barbara Fleshman, Tampa, FL; daughters, Amie (Marko) Matich and Rebekah (Scott) Hullender; Father-in-law David Hidle, two sister-in-laws Christine (John) Cannuli and Sherrie (Ken) Wiggins, along with eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services was at 1 PM Thursday at Battlefield Baptist Church with Pastor David Crane officiating.  Burial at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404, Section NN, Site 2361.
